“As a leading health and well-being company, we view our commitment to sustainability as an opportunity for innovation,” said Wiebo Vaartjes, Senior Vice President and CEO of Philips Electronics Hong Kong, “Retailers and consumers are increasingly interested in what we are doing to reduce the environmental impact of our products, processes and services. We committed to ensure our care for environment will bring win-win to our company as well as our customers worldwide.”
The Philips Digital Photoframes carry distinctive features that bring carbon footprint reduction. One of the example is the SmartPower function. It offers a timer turning the Photoframe on/off at users specify time. That reduces energy consumption and can save up to 1/3 of a Photoframe’s energy costs. The Digital Photoframes also come with simple innovations like packaging and easier disassembly for recycling, to rechargeable batteries which lasts longer without charging, we are offering consumers more sustainable choices.
