Ingredients
- Plain almond 50g (Chopped Coarsely)
- Sugar 1/2 cup
- Egg 1 pc
- Orange 1 piece (Zest)
- Plain flour 1 cup (Sifted)
- Baking powder 1/4 tsp
- Fresh orange juice 1 tbsp
- Orange liquor 1 tbsp
Directions
- Use an electric beater to mix sugar, egg and orange zest well.
- Fold in flour, baking powder, chopped almond, orange juice and orange liquor. Lightly knead dough on a floured surface until the dough is smooth and no longer sticky.
- Roll the dough to a 6cm X 16cm loaf. Place a sheet of baking paper in the basket, then put the loaf into the basket.
- Airfry at 180℃ for 25 minutes until the dough is hardened and slightly golden. Remove it from Airfryer and let it cool down completely (around an hour). Use a sharp knife to cut the loaf into 0.5cm thick slices. Return the slices to the basket and Airfry at 140℃ for 15 minutes. Flip over once midway.
