Ingredients

  • Pork bone ( blanched and cut into chunks) 400g
  • Beef (sliced) 150g
  • Cabbage (cut into pieces) 150g
  • Corn kernel 100g
  • Japanese daikon (cut into small chunks) 150g
  • Japanese bamboo shoot (cooked) 40g
  • Japanese kelp (soaked) 5g
  • Japanese leek (sectioned) 130g
  • Egg (at room temperature) 2-3 pcs
  • Japanese ramen 300g
  • Japanese instant seaweed 2-3 pcs
  • Ginger (sliced) 3g
  • Water 1750g
  • Sea salt, as appropriate

Directions

  • Put 750g of water in the blender jar. Close the lid.
  • Turn the rotary knob to Manual mode, adjust the heating level to Low, press OK. Adjust the cooking time at 15 minutes, press OK to start cooking.
  • When 10 minutes remains, put in the eggs. Close the lid and keep cooking.
  • When finished, take out the eggs. Break the onsen tamago on dish and set aside.
  • Put the pork bone, Japanese kelp, ginger, Japanese daikon and 1000g of water in the blender jar. Close the lid.
  • Turn the rotary knob to Manual mode, adjust the heating level to High, press OK. Adjust the cooking time at 20 minutes, press OK to start cooking.
  • When finished, remove the pork bone, ginger and Japanese kelp. Turn the rotary knob to 0 position.
  • Add the cabbage, corn kernel and leek in the blender jar. Close the lid. Turn the rotary knob to Manual mode, adjust the heating level to Medium, press OK. Adjust the cooking time at 20 minutes, press OK to start cooking.
  • When 5 minutes remains, add the Japanese ramen. Close the lid and keep cooking.
  • When 30 seconds remains, add the beef. Close the lid and keep cooking.
  • When the cooking is done, add the Japanese bamboo shoot and salt to taste.Serve with the onsen tamago and instant seaweed.
