No sound is coming from my Philips Avent Baby monitor
Parent unit volume is too low or on mute
Press the + button to increase the volume of the parent unit of your Philips Avent baby monitor. You will see the current volume level on the display after pressing the + button. The parent unit beeps at every volume step. At maximum volume, the parent unit beeps twice.
Microphone sensitivity level is too low
Increase the microphone sensitivity level of the baby unit of your Philips Avent Baby monitor, by following below steps:
- Select Sensitivity in the menu of your baby unit with the + and - buttons and press the OK button to confirm
- Press the + button to increase the sensitivity level as desired
- Press the OK button to confirm your settings
Units are out of range
The operating range is 330 meters/1000 feet outdoors and up to 50 meters/150 feet indoors. The operating range of the Philips Avent Baby monitor varies depending on the surroundings that cause interference.
Place the units next to each other and test again. If this works, we advise you to decrease the range between the baby unit and parent unit.
A software error occured
When the system is malfunctioning you can try a to reset your Philips Avent baby monitor by following below steps. Your personal settings such as user mode, video, sound or lullaby selection will not be lost after the reset.
- Turn off the parent unit
- Press and hold the - button
- Turn on the parent unit while holding the - button
