What are the recommended operating and storage, humidity and temperature levels for my Philips product?

Published on 2017-03-10

Operating:

  • Temperature: 5 to 40 degrees Celsius (41 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit)
  • Humidity Levels: 10% to 70% (Non-Condensing)

Storage:

  • Temperature: -15 to 50 degrees Celsius (5 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit)
  • Humidity Levels: 10% to 70% (Non-Condensing)

Dew Condensation Warning
Dew condensation may form inside the product under the following conditions:

  • The unit is moved from a cold place to a warm place
  • Under conditions of very high humidity
  • After heating a cold room

Please wait for a few hours for the internal components of the product to dry before using it.

Other storage and moving tips:

  • Store your product in a dark and dry place
  • Always unplug the product from the electrical socket before storing it or if you plan to not use it for extended periods of time
  • Use the original packaging of your product for storage. If you haven’t retained the original packaging of the product, use a soft blanket to wrap the product for storage purposes. Do not use any material which could cause scratches to the screen, chassis or bezel of the product
  • If you live in areas which are prone to high humidity, place pouches or baggies of silica gel around the product
  • For LCD televisions, it is always best to store the TV vertically. This is also true while moving the product in a vehicle as it prevents the LCD panel from flexing and cracking
  • Make sure the television is secure and does not have a chance of rocking or tipping over and falling. Not only can this damage the TV, but also cause its stand to lose orientation and stability
