My Philips Cordless Vacuum Cleaner runs out of battery quickly

Published on 01 March 2024
If your Philips Cordless Vacuum Cleaner runs out of battery too fast, find the model on the tube of your appliance and read our article below for possible causes and solutions.

Your vacuum cleaner comes with different power settings depending on the model. The higher the setting, the more battery your appliance uses.

Please find the recommended settings for daily use for each model below:

8000 Series Cordless Vacuum AquaPlus and 7000 Series Cordless Vacuum Aqua
The highest setting of your Philips Cordless Vacuum is “Turbo”, which has a very high suction power. Based on this, the appliance consumes battery very fast in the “Turbo” setting. You can use this setting to clean very dirty patches. For regular amounts of dust, use your appliance in setting “Eco” or “Normal” (see image below).

8000 Series SpeedPro Max (Aqua Plus) and 7000 Series SpeedPro Max (Aqua)
The highest suction power setting of your Philips SpeedPro Max Vacuum is “Turbo”. Based on this, the appliance consumes battery very fast in the “Turbo” setting. You can use this setting to clean very dirty patches. For regular amounts of dust, use your Philips SpeedPro Max in setting “1” or “2” (see image below).

5000 Series SpeedPro Cordless Vacuum
Your Philips 5000 Series SpeedPro Cordless Vacuum has two suction power settings, “1” and “2”. The recommended setting for normal daily use is setting ”1”. The highest setting is ”2” and has higher suction power. You can use setting ”2” to clean very dirty patches, however, it consumes the battery fast, so for regular amounts of dust, it is best to use setting ”1” (see image below).

3000 & 2000 Series Cordless Vacuum
The highest setting of your Philips 3000 or 2000 Series Cordless is “Turbo“ and it has a high suction power. In this setting the battery is consumed faster. You can use this setting to clean very dirty patches. For regular amounts of dust, your Philips 3000 or 2000 Series Cordless can be used in setting “Eco“ (see image below).
