There are some probable cause as below:

1. You have selected the wrong cycle. For example, you want to make nutritional rice paste, but you accidentally select bean Soy milk function.
2. Wrong amount of ingredient or water, please refer Direction of Use.
3. The pot is not clean.

After excluding above probable causes, if the problem still happen, please contact Philips Service Center.
