How to adjust my Philips Semi-Automatic 2000 Espresso Machine
Your Philips Semi-Automatic 2000 Espresso Machine provides you the option to adjust your coffee to your preferences by setting the drink volume. Read our article below to find out how.
First, make sure there is enough water in the tank, and you have your cup in position.
Then, lock the portafilter filled with the tamped ground coffee at the brew position.
Depending on the drink volume of espresso or double espresso you would like to adjust, press the button accordingly for two seconds until it starts flashing.
Once it starts flashing, the machine enters the drink volume setting and will start dispensing coffee.
When the cup contains your desired amount of coffee, press the same button again to confirm the set drink volume and save your preference.
Note: You can adjust the desired drink volume of an espresso between 25ml and 50ml, for double espresso between 60ml and 120ml.
To restore the drink volume to the factory setting:
Ensure the machine is powered on.
Press and hold the Espresso and Power On buttons simultaneously for two seconds. Both the Espresso and Power On buttons will start flashing.
Then press the Power On button to confirm. The drink volume will be reset to its default. All theindicators/buttons will light up stable and the machine is ready to work.
