Does my Philips receiver support Ambisound technology?
No. This concept is based on traditional purely passive speakers (with an active subwoofer).
We want consumers to be able to buy the receiver as a standalone unit for their existing speaker system, and Ambisound would have made this an exclusive system where both receiver and speakers would have to be used together (no mix and match possible).
