My Philips Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine is leaking

If you notice your Philips Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine leaking, read below to find out possible causes and solutions.
If you see water in the drip tray or if it fills up faster than usual, do not worry, as it is a normal occurrence and does not mean there is a leak. Your Philips Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine releases rinsing water from within directly into the drip tray after making coffee or frothing milk.
If the water tank is not fully inserted, clear water may leak under or from the backside. To fix this, remove the water tank and insert it again, pushing it as far as possible.
In case you see coffee leaking from the portafilter bracket, ensure to rotate counterclockwise and firmly lock the portafilter to the brewing position (indicated in Fig 1).
The cup filter basket needs to have its upper edge clean from coffee particles and to be inserted properly in the portafilter. Make sure to not overfill the cup filter basket with ground coffee (indicated in Fig 2).
